Our mixed use new-build development for South Yorkshire Housing Association is now nearing completion on site, and we are particularly pleased with the way the building has come together. Phase III of the Fosters development in High Green, Sheffield has been expertly constructed by O&P Construction from Rotherham, with works due to be complete at the end of November.
The main front elevation of the new development currently nearing completion.
The scheme, which has a total contract value of around £600,000 consists of a medium sized retail unit at ground floor level with four generous sized apartments above. Although traditional building methods were utilised, some contemporary features such as the projecting green window bays were included, as well as the building shell being constructed to Code 3 of Sustainable Homes standards. It has been a rewaring process to see an Architectural commission “off the drawing board” and built out in the speedy and efficient manner that it has been. The build has gone incredibly smoothly, partly due to an expert main contractor and partly due to the level of detail within our drawing package, and we are particularly looking forward to teaming up with O&P Construction in other forthcoming building projects. We look forward to uploading further photographs into our project pages once work has been completed….
