blog: grade II listed building refurb in Harrogate nearing completion…

Our whole house refurbishment of a four storey Grade II listed building in central Harrogate is now nearing completion. This was an architectural commission which we embarked on in 2014, and after obtaining the relevant planning permissions via Harrogate Council, we undertook a detailed package of architectural fit-out drawings for the works, which have been carried out by Prestige Renovations. Works began last summer and have been extremely intensive. The entire property has been completely renovated from basement, right up to the second floor, as well as the exterior of the property. The works involved opening up the main first floor living space, a new staircase up to the second floor, with the creation of two new bedrooms and a sumptuous “Jack and Jill” bathroom (of which there are several pictures below), a full renovation of an impressive entrance hall, complete with a beautiful marble floor, and a stunning wine cellar in the basement. Works are due to be fully complete in the next few weeks, and we’re very excited about including finished photographs in our project pages….
