blog: latest news for april 2016…

Spring is usually a busy time of year for us at Mash Architecture, as many building projects commence with the onset of better weather. This year is no exception with a surge of resdiential architectural projects we have been working on due to start on site. The most notable of our current architectural projects about to commence is probably our scheme for 10 new houses at Westfield Lane in Idle, near Bradford. The scheme comprises of one very large house, specifically for our client, who is also developing the whole site, with a further 9 houses (either detached or town houses).

The site at Westfield Lane being cleared for construction.

The houses are due to be constructed in timber frame and then clad in natural stone. The timber frames are being supplied by SMS Timber Frame (Shelley, near Huddersfield) with whom we are developing an excellent working relationship. The main building works will be carried out by Kevin Wood Developments.

Elsewhere, we have been appointed to carry out architectural work for new residential projects in Roundhay, Adel and Alwoodley in North Leeds, Ben Rhydding, near Ilkley, and Baildon and Nab Wood, near Bradford. Another busy and exciting month for us in prospect at Mash Architecture. More updates to follow soon…
