December is traditionally a quiet month when it comes to residential Architectural projects however, this December is looking to be anything but quiet. Perhaps it was the news, at the end of the summer, that the UK economy is now in a sustained recovery, that has given the general public the confidence to spend again, but it’s certainly welcome and encouraging to see plenty of activity in the Construction industry once more.
In terms of new Architectural commissions for ourselves; we have been appointed to carry out some interesting house extensions, renovations and refurbishments in Bramhope, Alwoodley and Roundhay in Leeds, as well as projects in Baildon and Ilkley, near Bradford. The scale of residential projects seem to be increasing, and perhaps this is down to consumer confidence, and the public’s new found willingness to spend.
In terms of projects on site, our new-build mixed-use commission in Sheffield, for South Yorkshire Housing Association is now complete, and we expect to upload photographs in the coming weeks, along with other examples of completed residential projects in Ilkley and North Leeds….
