blog: latest news for december 2014…

December sees us embark on a number of new and varied Architectural projects, which include the conversion of a former boarding school in the town of Stanley, near Newcastle, as well as a two storey domestic extension in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, along with a new specialist dental care centre, also in Ilkley. In addition to this, new Architectural commissions in the shape of domestic extensions / renovations in Horsforth and Cookridge (North Leeds) are about to commence, so it appears to be another busy month for us here at Mash.

In addition to the planning consent we have obtained for 10 houses in Bradford (featured in last week’s blog) we have also obtained planning permission for a difficult site in Pudsey, Leeds. The scheme is for the construction of two contemporary eco houses on a Green Belt site, which has resulted in a long and protracted planning application. That said, after much persistence we have now secured the necessary planning consent which will allow works to progress in the new year.

Elsewhere, our whole house renovation and three storey extension in Burley-in-Wharfedale, near Ilkley, is rapidly approaching completion under the expert craftsmanship of PC Developments, and we expect to be in a position to post completed photographs of the project in the new year…
