June looks set to be another busy, as well as interesting month for us, with a number of exciting architectural projects nearing completion on site. Works on The Roebuck (formerly The Spite) Public House north of Otley, near Leeds, are now drawing to a close to reveal a fantastic and exciting new venue, and we plan to upload a new project page with professional photographs featuring this project in the coming weeks. Our large residential four-storey stone-built extension / alterations project in Oakwoth, near Bradford, is also practically complete, and again, we plan to upload a formal project page with photographs relating to this in the coming weeks. In terms of new houses, our three bedroom detached property in Baildon has now been completed by CND Building Contractors to an exceptional standard, and our contemporary new house on the banks of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in East Morton, near Bingley, is also progressing well. In addition to this, we have just seen the completion of a large but delightful two storey extension in Ilkley, which again, is due to be given its own project page imminently.
We have several new residential projects due to start on site in the Leeds & Bradford areas during June and July, and have also seen a number of new residential architectural commissions during the last few weeks which are currently on the drawing board, so to speak. These being in Baildon (Bradford), Menston (Ilkley) and Roundhay and Moortown (Leeds).
We are also currently progressing designs for a new music cafe in Hebden Bridge, as well as completing working drawings for a large two storey extension in Ben Rhydding, near Ilkley, which will be constructed using ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) panels. This project is due to start on site later this month and we are particularly excited about seeing how it takes shape using this particular construction method. No doubt lots more posts will be added in the coming few weeks….
