We are pleased that building works for our new-build development for South Yorkshire Housing Association, in High Green, Sheffield are due to start on site this month. The development comprises a medium sized ground floor retail unit with four apartments over two floors of accommodation above. The scheme also incorporates some interesting and contemporary design features, as well as being constructed to Code 3 Sustainable Homes. We will obviously keep our blog page updated with photographs and regular updates over the coming weeks and months.
Elsewhere, we have secured a number of new Architectural commissions, including the conversion of a large student house close to Leeds City Centre, which will see the creation or several contemporary apartments, a whole house refurbishment in Whitkirk, East Leeds, and exciting conversion of an existing church building in Barnoldswick to form office accommodation, and a bespoke basement conversion in Burley-Woodhead, near Ilkley. All in all, a nice mix of projects to be involved in.
In terms of Architectural projects progressing on site, we are project managing a whole house refurbishment and extension project in Middleton, Ilkley, which is currently progressing well on site. We also have several projects nearing completion in our home town of Baildon, consisting of a bespoke new dwelling on the edge of Baildon Moor, an attractive stone built kitchen / dining extension, and another whole house refurbishment project.
