Our large extension and refurbishment project in Oakworth (between Bradford and Skipton) is now nearing completion, and we are delighted with the way it is turning out. The reclaimed stone, which the walls of the large four storey extension have been constructed from, looks fantastic, and visually it is almost impossible to see the difference between the original house and the new extension. The ornate architectural stone balustrading has now been installed around the extensive roof terrace, and once the balustrading has been treated, in order to blend in with the stone walls, along with the proposed teak decking to the roof terrace, we are hoping that the results will be stunning.

We are also delighted with the aluminium leaded windows which have recently been installed, as these compliment the original house beautifully. All the contractors involved have done a sterling job on this project so far; none more so than McCabe Building Contractors, who we have now undertaken several projects with, and with whom we have forged an excellent working relationship.
The large bi-fold doors have recently been installed around the front corner of the new extension, with a large external decked area soon to be brought into use.
As mentioned previously, we are delighted with progress on this project and can’t wait for it to be completed so that we can commission some professional photographs. With a number of our architectural commissions in the Leeds and Bradford area currently nearing completion, it is a particularly rewarding time for us…..
