If you have recently applied for planning permission for a proposed extension, new house or change of use of a building, and your application was refused, then you will no doubt feel dispondent and dejected. However, many areas of planning law and planning policies are subjective and open to interpretation, meaning that another pair of eyes may see things differently. Furthermore, local planning authorities, simply put, often get things wrong with little or no regard for the outcome.
