blog: planning consent granted for bradford housing scheme…

We have achieved planning consent for a prestigious housing development in Bradford after an agonising hearing the Bradford Major Planning Applications Committee. We were appointed to provide Architectural Services on this project some time ago, and a great deal of work has gone into the application by both our client and ourselves, and after a previous planning application was refused on dubious highways grounds, we have now managed to successfully secure the necessary permission, which is testament to our planning knowledge and persistence in these matters.

The site is currently an overgrown field off Westfield Lane in Wrose, and when developed it will consist of 10 dwellings, comprising three pairs of attractive semi-detached houses, a row of three town houses and one very large bespoke detached house for the applicant and his family to reside in.

An application to remove planning conditions is being prepared, which will be followed by a detailed set of construction drawings, with a view to works starting on site in Spring 2015. More updates to follow….
