blog: pub and restaurant venue almost ready to open…

One of the most exciting architectural commissions we have worked on in recent months is nearing completion and almost ready to open it’s doors. The Roebuck Public House in Newall-with-Clifton, near Otley north of Leeds, is set to become a landmark destination food pub / restaurant and is due to open towards the end of the month. The original pub, which was somewhat tired, dated and undersized has been completely transformed with the addition of a large and stunning dining room extension, spectacular raised sun terrace, new kitchen and WC facilities, a huge sweeping hardwood bar, along with a complete internal overhaul.

The building works have been expertly carried out by NRG Developments of Ilkley, with whom we have developed a sound working relationship, and we hope to work with them again on future projects. We have been impressed with the attention to detail and general craftsmanship displayed by NRG throughout.

The remaining external works are due to be carried out over the next couple of weeks and we are extremely excited about seeing this project completed, having provided a full architectural and interior design service from the outset. We believe that the venue will offer one of the finest dining experiences in the Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate areas.
