Project Overview & Budget: Single storey rear extension and full internal ground floor renovation, including DDA compliant works for disabled occupant, Baildon, West Yorkshire / £50,000 approx
Our brief for this project was to provide architectural, planning and interior design services for a single storey rear extension and an entire ground floor renovation of this semi-detached home in Baildon, near Bradford. Our client favoured a more contemporary design, with use of a bright and vibrant colour palette throughout.
The rear extension was carried out under permitted development and took on a fairly conventional form with a lean-to roof, whilst the ground floor interior was opened up to create a large open plan living, dining, kitchen space. A new disabled compliant ground floor shower room was also introduced.
Externally, the elevated rear garden also underwent a significant overhaul, which we also provided designs for. Our client was delighted with the end result which provided an architectural transformation of a previously conventional, but tired, three bedroomed semi-detached property.
