Interior fit-out in West Park, Leeds completed

We were pleased to be invited to photograph one of our recently completed architectural commissions recently, which involved a complete ground floor refurbishment of an Edwardian property in West Park, Leeds.

Our architectural brief was to open up the ground floor of the property, which involved the removal of multiple loadbearing walls, the inclusion of numerous steel beams and the formation of a new open plan kitchen, dining and living space, as well as a new utility, a wall of sliding doors linking the interior with the garden, and a bespoke glazed rooflight solution.

The design took on a fairly traditional theme, with a well-crafted hardwood kitchen produced and installed by a specialist kitchen carpentry company, as well as the inclusion of herringbone patterned oak flooring. The doors were black with minimal frames, in order to bring as much natural light into the living / kitchen space as possible.
Our client was delighted with the finished product which, for us here at Mash Architecture, is the most rewarding part of the job. This project was a necessity for this young family, in order that they could maximise use of their home for the long term without having to move.

If you are interested in undertaking a similar project of your own, then please get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide a free architectural consultation at a time of your choosing.
