The first few days of September have indicated that the coming weeks and months promise to be a busy time for us, with a number of exciting new architectural enquiries for both residential and commercial building projects in the Leeds and Bradford area. More news hopefully to come very soon.
With regards to our ongoing projects, we are rapidly developing an exciting Planning Application for a contemporary new home in Harrow, North London, which features a basement garage, 5 bedrooms on split level accommodation, sunken courtyard and raised terrace at the rear, as well as some interesting elevations. We have already met with the local Council’s planning department who were very encouraging of our initial concept, so we are particularly excited about this project.
Works are progressing with a new three bedroom detached house in Baildon near Bradford, for which we are providing architectural and project management services, whilst a couple of streets away, a new garden office extension has just commenced works on site. Just a stone’s throw away, still in Baildon, works are practically complete on a new five bedroom detached house, and we are particularly pleased with the finished result. We are scheduled to obtain some photographs in the next few days and will be updating our existing project page accordingly. We have also recently submitted a full planning application to Bradford Council for another new dwelling in Baildon, so this area is a real hot-bed of activity for us at present.
Our planning application for a contemporary new dwelling on the banks of the Leeds-Liverpool canal in East Morton near Bingley, is due to be determined imminently, and we have every confidence that this will be a positive decision, with works due to start as soon as practically possible. Again, this is a very exciting project for us, which promises to receive a great deal of local interest.
As well as several new smaller commissions, works are also expected to start on the refurbishment of The Spite Pub in Newall-with-Clifton near Otley (soon to be renamed The Roebuck) so all in all, it’s an interesting time for us at the moment…….
