Project brief:

We provided architectural and interior design services for this project in order to help the client to modernise a well-established and very well known ladies and gents hair salon in central Leeds. The shop is split over 3 stories of accommodation within a prestigious shopping arcade and had been operating successfully since 1970. Although the salon has always been extremely successful, it had become somewhat tired over recent years and was in need of a new lease of life.

During the refurbishment works, the structural fabric of the building was left largely unaffected, although the finishes underwent a complete transformation which resulted in a crisp, contemporary and minimal environment, much in contrast to the previous scheme.
