Project brief:

We were appointed to provide Architectural & design services on this project in the heart of Baildon village, near Bradford. The original shop-unit was a tired, dark and ugly space previously converted in the 1960’s, and was desperately in need of a new lease of life. Our client’s vision was to open up the frontage in order to maximise natural light into the existing space, and to create a classic, timeless and heavily Italian influenced interior.

A planning application for the new shop-front, signage and rendering over the existing concrete tiles to to the building facade, was lodged with Bradford Council, and approved at the first time of asking. Following this, a detailed interior design scheme was developed with the client, which has now come to life in a beautiful manner.
