Project brief:

We were approached by the client to produce an initial feasibility scheme for the above project with a view to preparing and submitting a planning application to Harrogate Council. The client was looking to construct 14 exclusive luxury new houses, each in excess of £500,000 market value in this idyllic setting on the banks of the river Nidd outside Knaresborough. The proposal consists of 4 different house-types, each with at least 5 bedrooms, and a large integral garage.

The site has a great deal of local history attached to it, as well as being sited in an extremely picturesque setting, and as such would be particularly sensitive from a planning point of view. We are hoping to take the scheme further during 2011.
