Full architectural service / Brent Council

Project brief:

This is another example of a project which we have eagerly undertaken which is located outside Yorkshire. We have recently been appointed to provide architectural services in the form of a full Planning Application to Brent Council’s planning department for this exciting and contemporary new house in Harrow, North London. The accommodation will be shared over four floors on a split level arrangement; the change in levels being governed by a semi-recessed basement garage. Externally the house will feature a number of crisp, modern materials such as white rendered walls, large glazed openings with aluminium frames, timber louvred details partly over the windows for privacy, a floating glass canopy, and a timber clad second floor projection with a mono-pitch standing seam roof. The internal layout is loosely based on the ancient Hindu principles of Vastu Shastra, which was a fundamental factor in Hindu architecture, and primarily the design of Hindu temples.

We are especially excited about this particular project and are eagerly awaiting feedback from Brent Council’s planning department with regards to the proposed designs. More updates will hopefully be added shortly……..
